Jay Borum - the Artist
Jay Borum began his life in art as a child, drawing at his
father’s side as he learned the art of brush lettering and
advertising design. As he grew, he has constantly had art
as a faithful companion and a means of earning a
living. His interest has included historic sites and people as
well as a natural feel for the impressions of life and nature.
His visual and emotional response to the beauty surrounding us all has
pleased private individuals as well as business customers, and is
presented in the form of painting, pencil sketching, and pen and ink
drawings. Portraits, commercial art for the business world, and
lettering design and production are all in his repertoire as his means
of expression.
